Baby Yoga Workshop
Bond with your baby in this new, baby and mom yoga workshop, where yoga and massage strengthen the spiritual, emotional and physical bond between parent and child. The first half of the class is dedicated to mom stretching and strengthening with the baby and the last half of the class is mom helping baby stretch, as well as learning how to massage baby. The benefits to your baby include stimulated circulation, improved body awareness, improved sleep patterns, relief from gas and colic, and emotional stress reduction. Yoga is a wonderful way to help carry you as a parent smoothly through the busy early months of caring for a new baby. This workshop is ideal for babies under 12 months. Mothers are encouraged to bring a baby wrap or sling to better assist in some of the postures. Also bring water.
Prenatal Partner Yoga
This workshop will educate and empower pregnant mothers and their birth partners with simple, yet powerful yoga postures, massage, and breathing techniques to prepare for labor, delivery and parentage. Incorporating movement, communication, supportive touch and laughter into your journey will be sure to support you in having the best experience possible as you welcome your baby into the world. These skills will be sure to take you well into parenthood. No yoga experience necessary. The workshop is suitable for all trimesters. We encourage and welcome same sex couples and birthing partners to attend.
