Sangha Yoga Policies & Mission Statement
Studio Policies
- Please do not eat for a minimum of one hour before attending yoga class.
- Please do not wear any scented perfumes or lotions to Sangha Yoga.
- Wear stretchable clothes that cling to the body.
- Arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of a class.
- During front desk hours, we allow entrance into a class up to 15 minutes after the start time. If a class operates outside of front desk hours, late arrivals risk being locked out of the studio.
- No cell phones inside the practice studios – Please silence cell phones left in the front lobby.
- Practice yoga with bare feet. Socks may be worn during relaxation and meditation.
- Please sanitize your mat at the end of class.

Bathroom & Lobby Etiquette
- Please keep voices to a minimum in front desk area.
- Leave shoes in the shoes and personal belongings in the designated area.
- Hang coats on Sangha Studio side of coat rack. - Leave room for Shanti Massage clients on Shanti side.
- Change clothes in downstairs bathroom (or Studio B if available).
Policies for Drop-In Classes & Class Packages
- These are the 2012 Class Prices, Session Cards & Discounts
- Session Cards can be used for any weekly drop-in yoga class including weekend Community Classes.
- Session Cards CANNOT be used for any semester class, meditation or relaxation class, or any workshop or special event.
- There are no refunds for prepaid Session Cards.
- As of 7/18/11: All class packages expire on or before December 23, 2011.
- Session Cards can be shared among: married spouses, domestic partners, parents and children
- We will accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover credit & debit cards with a $16 minumim purchase.
Policies for Semester Classes (Registration-Required)

Preregistration and payment for Semester Classes must be received 48 hours before the start of the semester class to guarantee your space. Register early for some classes fill quickly. Paying at the door runs the risk of the class being full.

Preregistration can be completed via snail mail with a check. Credit card registration may be done in person at the studio. Some events can be registered for on line.

Preregistration for semester classes and workshops is recommended. If a class or event is sold out it will be noted on in our monthly email newsletter, and on the class page on the website.

There are no refunds for semester classes. If a semester course has been paid for but not attended, those funds can be transfered into the person's Tab Account no later than the second week of the semester start date.
- Sangha Yoga does not guarentee make up sessions for missed classes in semester courses.
Policies for Workshops & Seminars
- Preregistration for Workshops closes a minimum of one week before the event. (See each event flyer).
- After preregistration closes, pay "at-the-door" price on the day of the event.

Preregistration can be completed via snail mail with a check. Credit card registration may be done by phone or in person at the studio. (Please allow for 48 hours for a return phone call.)

Special Event and Workshop payments are nonrefundable and nontransferable for future use. For seminars costing over $100 a substitute person can attend in the place of the preregistered attendee. Refunds for full weekend seminars can be granted if cancelation is made prior to one week of the start date of the event.
Gift Certificate Policies
All Gift Certificates expire one year after the date of purchase.
Private Session Policies
Sangha Yoga reserves the right to charge a $25 fee for appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time. A "no call no show" can result in a a full payment fee.

Sangha Yoga Mission Statement
Sangha Yoga's mission is to extend the authentic teachings of Yoga and meditation to all students, regardless of age, race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identification, disability, religion or economic status. Our goal is to support the health and well-being of our local community with affordable yoga classes taught by qualified teachers, and to support our global community with regular fundraising events for charitable causes. We also aim to provide a sacred space in which guest teachers and workshop leaders can share their unique talents and healing arts.

Sangha Yoga teachers believe that continuity & commitment create a strong sense of community. We're committed to empowering students with personal knowledge through intelligent instruction which honors each unique body. The consistent use of language amongst teachers who share a similar comprehensive understanding of yoga & meditation helps students to feel" at home" in each class and able to progress quickly.
