Karina Ayn Mirsky, BBA, MA, ERYT

Karina Mirsky (Devidas), is widely respected Yoga and Meditation Educator and the Director of Sangha Yoga Institute. She is a certified teacher of Rod Stryker’s ParaYoga®. Karina has been teaching yoga since 1998, training teachers since 2004 and leading international retreats since 2008. She holds a BBA in Business Management and a MA in East-West Psychology. Karina travels extensively to teach and has been featured in several publications and tele-conferences. She also works privately with individuals and produces a variety of online videos and app content. In 2019 Karina launched Yoga Mindset Coaching and published a best selling book.
Jessica M. Johnson, MSW, CYT

Jessica has been a student of yoga and meditation since 1999. She began teaching in 2009 and opened Mattawan Yoga in 2016. She is a graduate of Sangha Yoga's 200 and 300 hour trainings and now assists Karina in SYTT's. Jessica holds a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master of Social Work both from WMU. Her classes and private coachings provide a non-judgmental atmosphere where she shares her knowledge of ParaYoga, Ayurveda, Kundalini Yoga, Martial Arts, and Psychology to heal the body and mind while connecting with spirit. Jessica's personal experience with scoliosis has given her a passion for safe and effective yoga asana practice.
Andy Be, BA, RYT
SYTT Assistant | Community Class Facilitator
Andrew has been studying and practicing yoga since 2012. He has studied Kundalini Yoga with Alycia Lee and master teacher, Ravi Singh, and ParaYoga with Karina Mirsky. Andy is a graduate of the SYTT program and holds a degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University, with a minor in alcohol and substance abuse. Andy wholeheartedly believes in the transformational power of the subtle practices of yoga. Pranayama, kriya and meditation helped him overcome addiction and now he uses these tools to support others in recovery. Andy teaches yoga in Kalamazoo and Wayland, assists SYTT200 programs and facilitates the Sangha Community Class.
Marin Heinritz, BA, MS, PhD, RYT
SYTT Assistant | Sangha Class Teacher
Marin has been a lifelong practitioner of yoga and meditation, and studied myriad traditions before seriously training with Karina Ayn Mirsky at the Sangha Yoga Institute. She will complete the SYTT500 program in October 2017. In addition to teaching for Sangha Yoga, Marin offers yoga and barre classes at The Kalamazoo Barre Studio and offers private yoga sessions at Firehouse Fitness and Wellness. She is also a private writing coach, professional writer, and teaches journalism and creative writing full time at Kalamazoo College.
