Join Karina on her birthday for a deeply restorative and healing journey into Yoga Nidra!
Yoga Nidra is a profound tantric practice to deprogram the accumulation of tension in the physical body and subconscious mind. The literal translation of Yoga Nidra is Yogic Sleep. It is a journey into the deepest levels of relaxation while still remaining fully aware. By accessing delta brain waves, a 45 minute yoga nidra practice can equate to getting about 4 hours of sleep!

Setting up for practice...
Yoga Nidra is performed lying on the floor in shavasana or "corpse pose."
We recommend lying 1-2 thick blankets on top of a yoga mat to create a comfortable "nidra bed"
A small pillow or folded towel can be placed underneath your head.
If you have back pain from laying on the floor for extended periods of time, place a bolster, rolled blanket, or stack of bed pillows under your knees for support.
You may get cold during the practice, so feel free to cover up with a light blanket.
NOTE: heavy eye pillows are not recommended for this practice. If you want to block out light, gently drape a small towel or light fabric over your eyes.
Practice in a space free from distractions. Silence your phone. Be fully committed. This is time to deeply rest.
